Rohtak, January 6, 2026: The District Bar Association, Rohtak, organized a felicitation ceremony for District and Sessions Judge Neerja Kulwant Kalson on her promotion as a judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. She was honored with a bouquet of flowers, a plant, and a shawl by the District Bar Association.
District and Sessions Judge, Neerja Kulwant Kalson described her tenure in Rohtak as unforgettable, saying that the respect and affection she received here would be cherished forever. She said that she had undertaken many reformative works during her tenure here and that these efforts would continue in the future.
Dr. Vijender Singh Ahlawat, member and former president of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, described DSJ Neerja Kulwant Kalson's successful tenure and the harmony between the bar and the bench as memorable, saying that she always prioritized the welfare of the lawyers.
Deepak Hooda, President of the District Bar Association, delivered the welcome address and expressed his gratitude. The program was conducted by Surender Laura.
