Chandigarh July 24, 2025: The students of Centre for Police Administration attended a Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Workshop at Children Traffic Park Sector 23, Chandigarh as a part of two weeks internship program with the Chandigarh Police.
Dr. Parvesh Kumari, Inspector and her team extended a warm welcome to Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson Police Administration and other Faculty members i.e. Dr. Shaveta Begra, Dr. Satnam Singh and Dr. Daljit Kaur.
Dr. Parvesh Kumari along with her team demonstrated the detrimental effects of traffic violations to the students. She also explained the advantages of traffic rules and road safety with help of audio-visual presentation and conducted a pledge to resolve the students to religiously follow traffic rules. She motivated the students to be part of community policing so as to control the magnitude of traffic violations in the city. She appreciated the efforts of Dr. Kuldeep Singh and his team for collaborating with Chandigarh Traffic Police to create awareness among the students regarding the traffic hygiene.
