Research and Innovation Take Centre Stage at KMV during an Expert Visit

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), PG Department of Physics had the privilege of hosting Prof. Nandu Chaure from Savitribai Phule University, Pune, a distinguished researcher in the field of materials science and photovoltaic technology. During his visit, Prof. Chaure interacted with students and faculty members of the Physics Department and appreciated the enthusiasm, dedication and scientific temperament displayed by the students.

Jalandhar, March 5, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), PG Department of Physics had the privilege of hosting Prof. Nandu Chaure from Savitribai Phule University, Pune, a distinguished researcher in the field of materials science and photovoltaic technology. During his visit, Prof. Chaure interacted with students and faculty members of the Physics Department and appreciated the enthusiasm, dedication and scientific temperament displayed by the students.
Prof. Chaure was highly impressed by the modern infrastructure and research facilities available in the institution. He particularly admired the self-motivated attitude of the students, noting that such an environment plays a crucial role in developing the next generation of scientists and innovators.
Prof. Chaure is also serving as the Technical Supervisor of the DST-funded research project being carried out by Dr. Gopi Sharma and Dr. Sandeep Kaur of the Physics Department. During his visit, he reviewed the progress of the project and appreciated the quality of work being conducted. He commended the Principal Investigators for their dedication and encouraged them to continue pursuing impactful research that contributes to the scientific community and society at large.
The visit proved to be highly inspiring for the students and faculty, as Prof. Chaure shared valuable insights from his research experience and motivated students to pursue scientific inquiry with dedication and perseverance.
Director Dr. (Prof.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the guidance provided by Prof. Chaure and encouraged the faculty and students to continue striving for excellence in scientific research. She emphasized that KMV will continue to support innovative research initiatives and provide a dynamic platform for students to grow as future scientists and leaders in the field of science.
