Ludhiana, November 27, 2022: Department t of Obstetrician and Gynaecological, DMCH, Ludhiana organized the quarterly meeting of Obstetrician & Gynaecological Society of Northern India and a CME on Dilemmas in Obstetrics & Gynaecology on Sunday, under the aegis of Punjab Medical Council.

Eminent speakers from North India participated in this academic extravaganza.

Dr Archana Verma, Vice President, North Zone Fogsi and Dr Ashok Kumar, Secretary, ICOG were the guests of Honour.

Surbhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana graced the occasion and inaugurated the CME
More than 250 delegates participated in CME. Dr Ashima Tanja, Dr Pooja Tamron and Dr Kanipriya Jain moderated the panel discussions on Menopause and Fibroids.

A role play organized by Dr Sunil Juneja on PCOD gained a lot of appreciation as an innovative way of teaching.

Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary, DMCH Managing society, lauded the efforts of the department for taking the initiative of organising such an event.

Dr Suman Puri was an expert on infertility panels.

Scientific Paper and poster presentations were facilitated by Dr Shweta Gupta and Dr Monica Marana where more than 25 delegates participated. A quiz on infertility was organized for post graduate students.

In addition to the academics, second half if the CME focused on a social issue- Violence Against Women.
