Chandigarh: To highlight the mesmerizing Punjab Tourism Location Harike Wetlands on eve of World Wetlands Day 2024,  a significant Portrait depicting Harike Wetlands was unveiled by Anmol Gagan Maan, Tourism & Cultural Affairs Minister Punjab in the presence of Padma Dr. Surjit Patar Chairman Punjab Arts Council and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu during the inaugural session of MS Randhawa festival held at Randhawa Auditorium Chandigarh. 

Portrait on Harike Wetlands has been compiled by Punjab’s eminent Author, Nature Artist, Heritage Promoter & High Court Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu which showcases the rich flora- fauna the serene calmness and natural beauty of Harike Pattan Wetlands. The portrait depicts the beautiful meadows, heavenly Sunrise and sparkling water of Harike Pattan Wetlands prepared with aim to promote this Punjab tourism location within nature lovers across the globe on eve of World Wetlands Day 2024. Harike Wetlands is one of the largest wetland of Northern India having natural lake situated deep inside the sanctuary Harike Lake, which is created by the confluence of Sutlej and Beas Rivers.
