Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal Stages Protest Condemning the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack
“Terrorists should be given the harshest possible punishment,” says Sunil Mehra and Ayush Agrawal.

Ludhiana, April 23, 2025: In the terrorist attack that occurred in the Pahalgam area of Jammu, several innocent civilians as well as personnel from the Indian Navy and Intelligence Bureau (IB) were martyred.
Condemning this brutal attack, the Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal, led by State Secretary Ayush Agrawal and State General Secretary Sunil Mehra, burned an effigy symbolizing terrorism. The trade leaders expressed strong confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not let the lives of these innocent Indians be wasted in vain.
They stated that the entire world today stands with India against terrorism. Before brutally murdering the innocent people, the terrorists reportedly verified that they were non-Muslims — an act that further highlights the inhumanity of the attackers. The leaders emphasized that terrorism has no religion.
They also pointed out that such attacks not only create a fearful atmosphere across the nation but also cause damage to businesses and trade.
Condemning the attack in the strongest terms, the traders demanded that the terrorists should be captured as soon as possible and be given the same fate as the innocent Indians who were martyred.
Present at the protest were market president Davinder Jolly, Vijay Chopra, Ravinder, Ram Kumar Rama, Jagdish, Monu, Pawan, Prince Narang, Hari Om Bajaj, and other members.
