Ludhiana, September 2, 2025: National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that the so-called Punjab Government led by CM Bhagwant Mann has been totally exposed as a complete disaster during the recent floods in Punjab. Grewal said that when Punjab was drowning and crying for help, the Chief Minister was busy holidaying in Tamil Nadu, leaving the entire state abandoned, helpless, and leaderless.
He said that there was no war room, no disaster management cell, no daily cabinet meetings, no responsible minister appointed, and no clear policy to save human lives, animals, or property. Grewal told that while cattle, buffaloes, goats, and people’s hard-earned livelihoods were washed away in floodwaters, the government was missing in action. He said that ordinary citizens, NGOs, and private volunteers risked their lives to save Punjab while the ruling party shamelessly abandoned its duty.
Grewal said that before releasing water, not even a single proper warning was issued to the people. He said the Punjab Government could not organize relief camps, could not coordinate Deputy Commissioners, could not deploy medical teams, could not arrange ambulances, and could not provide basic updates to the public. He told that not even one serious cabinet meeting was held at the height of this disaster.
