Punjab beat Hyderabad by 5 wickets in ELITE GROUP-C league match of Women’s Senior One Day Trophy 2021-22 

Chandigarh/Mohali, November 3, 2021: Punjab State Women’s Senior One Day Team had played their third Inter-State match for Women’s Senior One Day Trophy 2021-22 against Hyderabad Cricket Association at Alur Cricket Stadium, Bangalore.
Punjab won the toss and elected to field  first.  Batting first Hyderabad were able to score 202 runs for loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. Keerthi Reddy unbeaten 100* runs off 147 balls  with ten boundaries and Yashasri 37 runs off 51 balls with one boundary and one six were the main run getters for Hyderabad team. For Punjab Mehak Kesar took 3 wickets for 31 runs, Kanika Ahuja 2 wickets  for 30 runs and Sunita Rani 1 wicket for 26 runs were the most successful wicket takers for Punjab team.

Replying Punjab achieved the target in  48.2 overs  and scored 206 runs for the loss of 5 wickets  . Parveen Khan scored 82 runs off 127 balls with seven boundaries and Kanika Ahuja scored 46 runs off 83 balls with three boundaries were the highest run getters for PCA. For hyderabad Yashasri claimed 3 wickets for 60 runs , Pranavi Chandra took 1 wicket for 29 runs and Bhogi Shravani took  1 wicket for 41 runs were the most successful wicket takers for Hyderabad CA.
