PU Professor invited as Indian delegate for China Innovation Tour

Chandigarh, September 20, 2019: For promoting exchange and cooperation between India and China in the field of science and technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People ’s Republic of China has invited Dr.Rohit Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, Panjab University to undertake the China Innovation Tour for Indian young scientists.
Dr.Sharma will be visiting the cities of Kunming and Shanghai from 22nd to 29th September, 2019 for scientific presentations and deliberations as part of Indian delegation of young scientists from different institutions across the country. This event is being co-organized and sponsored by China-South Asia Technology Transfer Center, Department of Science and Technology of Yunnan Province, Yunnan Academy of Scientific along with Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center. Dr.Sharma’s visit will include exchange of academic and research ideas through activities such as field visits to universities, science technology innovation (STI) enterprises and science parks for exploration of future possibilities for cooperation between the two countries.
