PU holds webinar on “Role of Technology for the Educational Management of children with Learning Disability” 

Chandigarh, November 27, 2021: Department of Community Education and Disability Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh hosted a Webinar Series-3 with Collaboration in School of Education, Indira Gandhi National open university (IGNOU), New Delhi, on the topic “Role of Technology for the Educational Management of children with Learning Disability ”  under the Webinar series of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. 
Prof. (Dr.) Navleen Kaur Chairperson, introduced the topic and welcomed the resource person Prof. (Dr.) D. Veketeshwarlu, Director of School Education, IGNOU, New Delhi . He talked about Role of Technology for the Educational Management of children with Learning Disability.  He told about history of special education, current scenario of special education, and future plan of special education regarding specific learning disability. He said  more scope of learning disability professional in present time and how to use assistive device for children with learning disability.  He said  lot of  online software are available to diagnose of specific learning disability in  informal way .
Around 80 participants like rehabilitation professionals, research scholars, students and other stakeholders attended the webinar. The skills learnt in this webinar can be utilized by them to enhance the learning capability of the students with specific learning disability . Mr. Md Taukir Alam vote of  thanks.
