PU Department of Psychology organised two workshops

Chandigarh, April 10, 2023: The Department of Psychology, has organised two workshops and Dr. Roshan Lal, Head of the Department of Psychology introduced the speakers. Prof. Kulwinder Singh Punjabi University, Patiala spoke on Data Analysis: the interpretation. The students were made aware of important points pertaining to their research papers, projects and were taught how to run SPSS. This workshop enriched the students in terms of  their analytical skills.

Another workshop was conducted by Gurjot Singh Kaler IPS (Punjab Police) , the alumni of Department of Psychology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He started to share his experience as a student of Psychology as well as Police Administrator and highlighted the role of Emotional Intelligence in daily Life. At present, Kaler is AIG (Excise and Taxation), Punjab. He stressed upon the concept of Learn-Unlearn and Relearn which is very important in contemporary social scenario. He further said that we many times lack self acceptance and focus more on external validity which further cause conflict and frustration in our lives. Prof. H K Chhabra extended vote of thanks.

All the faculty members Dr. Roshan Lal (Head of the Department), Prof. H.K. Chabbra, Dr. Amreen Sekhon and Dr. Amit Kumar were present at the occasion.
