PU administration to receive full support from UT Police during upcoming student council elections

Chandigarh, July 31, 2025: Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Amit Chauhan, and DSW (Women), Prof. Namita Gupta, met with the DGP Chandigarh, Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda. During the interaction, Dr. Hooda fondly recalled his time as a student at Panjab University and assured that the University administration would receive full support from the UT Police during the upcoming student council elections. The DSWs also held a constructive discussion with SSP Chandigarh, Kanwardeep Kaur, at her office regarding preparations and coordination for the elections.
