PTC Sunaria Gets Modern Auditorium, Police Commissioner Mamta Singh Inaugurates Facility; Training, workshops and awareness programmes to get a major boost
A newly constructed, modern auditorium equipped with advanced facilities was inaugurated at Police Training College (PTC) Sunaria on Wednesday. The facility was inaugurated by Sonipat Police Commissioner Mamta Singh, IG PTC Sunaria Ashok Kumar, IPS, presided over the programme, which was held under the supervision of SP Dhyān Singh.

Rohtak, September 9, 2026: A newly constructed, modern auditorium equipped with advanced facilities was inaugurated at Police Training College (PTC) Sunaria on Wednesday. The facility was inaugurated by Sonipat Police Commissioner Mamta Singh, IG PTC Sunaria Ashok Kumar, IPS, presided over the programme, which was held under the supervision of SP Dhyān Singh.
IPS Mamta Singh inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. A special video presentation prepared by the PTC’s PRO and Multimedia Branch showcased the institution’s journey, training activities, achievements and quality training imparted to personnel.
Students of DAV Public School, Sunaria, presented a street play highlighting drug abuse and its harmful effects, urging youngsters to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The achievements of children of police personnel and police families in sports and academics were also highlighted, with talented students being encouraged to excel further.
SP Durga Shakti, PTC Sunaria Vijay Pratap, Rohtak SP Gaurav Raj Purohit, DSP PTC Vikas Krishna, police officials, DAV School teachers, and personnel associated with the auditorium project and members of police families were present.
The new auditorium will facilitate police training, meetings, workshops, awareness campaigns and other departmental programmes, significantly expanding the facilities at PTC Sunaria.
