Properties of drug smugglers worth Rs.2,71,24,483 seized by Ferozepur police

Ferozepur, November 11, 2021: Taking stern action against the drug peddlers, Ferozepur police have seized the properties of smugglers worth in crores. 
Giving details, Harmandeep Singh Haans, SSP said during this year, Ferozepur police have traced the illegal properties of drug smugglers belonging to this district which amount to tune of Rs.3,34,49,483.
“Out of this, properties worth Rs.2,71,24,483 have already been seized by the police. The properties which have seized includes 5 kanal 12 marla land, 6 houses, 4 shops, one service station and 4 bank accounts of the accused who were involved in drug smuggling. The case to seize the property of one other smuggler worth Rs.2,43,400,  has been sent to the higher authorities”, said SSP. 
“The properties of two other smugglers worth Rs.63,25,000 have also been identified and the case to seize the property of this smuggler has also been prepared”, he further added. 
The SSP said that the police is tightening the noose of the drug peddlers and the people, who are involved in the sale of drugs will not be spared by the law”, he further added.
