Jalandhar, May 21, 2025: The 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, Jalandhar, organized a promotional ceremony to honour three dedicated Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) who successfully completed a rigorous one-month refresher course at the Officers Training Academy in Kamptee, Nagpur.
The following officers were recognized for their exemplary commitment and advancement: Chief Officer Sandeep Sethi, First Officer Bhupinder Singh, Second Officer Vipul Singh.
Col Vinod Joshi, Commanding Officer of the 2 PB NCC Battalion, extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted officers, acknowledging their perseverance and dedication to the ideals of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
In the quarterly conference, Col Joshi also briefed the attending ANOs and battalion personnel on upcoming NCC activities, including the Combined Annual Training Camps (CATC), Trekking Camps, Thal Sena Camps, and the prestigious Republic Day Camp. He emphasized the importance of these events in fostering discipline, leadership, and unity among cadets.
The session further delved into administrative matters, notably the implementation of the online enrollment system for cadets, aimed at streamlining the registration process. Discussions also covered the Cadets Welfare Society's scholarship program, which seeks to support deserving cadets in their educational pursuits.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of ANOs from various educational institutions and personnel from the battalion, reflecting the collaborative spirit of the NCC community. The event concluded with a tea and snacks session, providing an opportunity for informal interactions and camaraderie among attendees.
