Chandigarh, June 30, 2026: Prof. Yojna Rawat, Former Dean of University Instruction and Former Coordinator of the Srimanta Sankardev Chair, Panjab University, met the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma.
During the meeting, Prof. Rawat briefed him on the initiatives undertaken by the Srimanta Sankardev Chair established by the Govt. of Assam to promote the literary, cultural, and spiritual legacy of Srimanta Sankardev.
The Assam Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the Srimanta Sankardev Chair at Panjab University and assured of his support and every possible assistance in further strengthening and promoting Srimanta Sankardev studies at Panjab University.
