Priyamvada Kant Flaunts Glamorous Desi Looks as Latika in &TV’s Gharwali Pedwali

Actor Priyamvada Kant, who plays Latika in &TV’s supernatural horror-comedy show Gharwali Pedwali, is captivating audiences with her striking desi avatar in the ongoing track. As the storyline becomes more intense and visually dramatic, Latika is seen in a series of glamorous traditional looks that beautifully highlight her character’s mystical yet elegant personality.
Sharing details about her on-screen styling, Priyamvada Kant aka Latika says, “In the current track, my character is seen wearing a variety of beautiful desi outfits, especially vibrant ghagra cholis that really bring out Latika’s glamorous side. Each costume is designed very thoughtfully, with rich colours, intricate embroidery and flowing silhouettes that look stunning on screen and add a lot of visual drama to the scenes. The ghagras are often layered and voluminous, which makes the look even more striking when I move or perform in different sequences. Earlier, since the beginning of the show, Latika was mostly seen in the same red dulhan outfit, which is her signature look like a ghost bride. While that look is very iconic for the character, after wearing the same red dress for so long, it feels refreshing and exciting to experiment with different outfits now. Since Latika is a ghost but also a very expressive and stylish character, the costumes play a big role in creating that perfect blend of beauty, elegance and mystery. At the same time, the outfits help highlight her larger-than-life presence, making her look both enchanting and slightly otherworldly on screen.” She further adds, “The jewellery is also an important part of the look. I wear traditional pieces like jhumkas, layered necklaces, bangles and sometimes a maang tikka, which complete the entire ensemble. The styling team has done a wonderful job in making sure every look feels grand and visually appealing while still staying true to the supernatural theme of the show. My makeup usually includes bold kohl-lined eyes, defined brows and deeper lip shades that give Latika a slightly haunting yet beautiful appearance. I also wear a very long wig for the character, which adds a lot of drama to the look and flows beautifully in many scenes.”
