Preparations for celebrations of Silver Jubilee year start at IKGPTU

Jalandhar/Kapurthala: I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) is going to enter its 25th year on this January 16, 2021 by completing 24 years of its establishment. Preparations for Golden Jubilee Year have started at the University main campus. Sri Akhand Path Sahib was started by all the staff at the University main campus on Wednesday with devotion.

In another event, a banquet hall has been inaugurated at IKGPTU ground floor. Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor inaugurated it for the stakeholders of the University. In this banquet hall, meals can be arranged for 80 people at a time. Earlier it was difficult to manage lunch, dinner etc during the mass gathering at University like seminars, conferences etc.

This will serve the purpose smoothly.

After this inauguration session, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma also inspected the new infrastructure being developed in the university campus. VC Prof Sharma said that the university is completing its 24 year journey on January 16, 2021 and the Silver Jubilee year celebration will continue till the next foundation day. On this occasion Registrar Er. Sandeep Kumar Kazal, Xcian Er. Harvinder Pal Singh, Controller Examinations Dr. Paramjit Singh, Finance Officer Dr. Sukhbir Singh Walia and others were also present.
