Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Writer–director Kumar Neeraj’s much-talked-about film “Shelter Home” has grabbed attention soon after its poster launch. The film is set for a pan-India theatrical release on November 28. Based on a true story, it exposes the disturbing reality of the Muzaffarpur Shelter Home case.
The film, known for its unique theme and emotional depth, was screened at Oxford University in August 2024, where it received wide appreciation. The songs, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, feature glimpses of Hina Panchal, while acclaimed cinematographer Najeeb Khan has handled the camera.
Produced under the banners of Spark Media and AAA Planetary Films, the film is backed by Vaishali Dev, Beena Shah, Munni Singh, and Khushboo Singh. The cast includes Rajveer Singh, Akshay Verma, Nazneen Patni, and several other talented actors. “Shelter Home” is a courageous cinematic attempt to portray a harsh social truth with honesty and sensitivity.
