Portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar unveiled in Rohtak Bar Association
On the occasion of the Constitution Day, a Portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee was unveiled by Neerja Kulwant Kalson, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Rohtak in the August presence of Dr. Vijender Singh Ahlawat, Member and Former Chairman of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana on Wednesday in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Library of District Bar Association, Rohtak.

Rohtak, November 26, 2025: On the occasion of the Constitution Day, a Portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee was unveiled by Neerja Kulwant Kalson, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Rohtak in the August presence of Dr. Vijender Singh Ahlawat, Member and Former Chairman of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana on Wednesday in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Library of District Bar Association, Rohtak.
The function was attended by ADJs Rajni Yadav, Sandeep Kumar Duggal, Shelender Singh, Anil Kaushik, Kapil Rathee, Bhupender Kumar & all other Judicial Officers, Deepak Hooda, President of District Bar Association and Advocates of Bar Association, Rohtak.
Speaking on the occasion, Ld. District and Sessions Judge, Neerja Kulwant Kalson extended her warm wishes on the Constitution Day and said that contribution of Chief Architect of the Constitution emphasized his vision for social justice, equality and liberty. It is a matter of great pride for us that Portrait has been installed in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Library of District Bar Association, Rohtak . She said that future generations will learn from the teachings of Baba Sahib Ambedkar.
Former Chairman Dr. Vijender Ahlawat said that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Library was inaugurated in the year 2010 by the then Chief Justice of India Dr. K.G. Balakrishnan. Installation & unveiling of the Adamkad Pratima (Portrait) is a real tribute to the father of Indian Constitution Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. On this occasion, tributes were paid to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Member of Indian Constituent Assembly Ranbir Singh Hooda.
