Police Launches "Law School" and "Explore Your Future" Initiatives in Dehra (Kangra ) to Empower Youth

Dharamshala, July 11, 2025: In a significant outreach initiative, the Police District Dehra in Himachal Pradesh has launched a comprehensive awareness and career guidance campaign under the banner of "Law School", aimed at educating school and college students, as well as local communities, about crucial legal and social issues.
According to a special press release issued by Superintendent of Police, Dehra, Mayank Chaudhary, the campaign is designed to raise awareness on topics such as the Indian legal system, traffic regulations, drug abuse prevention, and cyber fraud. The initiative will also engage Gram Panchayats and Mahila Mandals in an effort to build an informed and responsible society.
Further expanding the scope of this campaign, the police have also launched a complementary initiative titled "Explore Your Future". This program focuses on providing free career counseling and guidance to students and youth across the region. The counseling will be conducted by police officers themselves, marking a novel approach where law enforcement not only ensures safety but also supports the career aspirations of the younger generation.
Students and youth interested in availing of this opportunity can directly approach the Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police (SDPO), or their local police station in-charge for guidance and counseling sessions.
This dual initiative reflects the growing commitment of the Himachal Pradesh Police to community engagement and youth empowerment.
