PM Narendra Modi has Always Protected Sikh Pride and Heritage: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan

Chandigarh, November 27, 2025: National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that he expresses his deepest heartfelt appreciation, love and unwavering respect for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for continuously upholding the dignity of the Sikh faith and serving the nation with unmatched devotion.

Grewal wrote on his social media account X that the nation has witnessed year after year how Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always stood firmly for the teachings of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji the protector of human rights and religious freedom. Grewal highlighted that Narendra Modi’s commitment is not limited to speeches but is reflected in his actions, decisions and historic initiatives that have uplifted Sikh values across the globe.

Grewal said that the unnecessary controversies raised by certain political individuals cannot overshadow the truth that PM Narendra Modi has honoured the Sikh Panth with a sincerity rarely seen in modern political history. He said the Prime Minister has always remembered the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji whose martyrdom took place in the heart of Delhi at Chandni Chowk and that is precisely why the main and spiritually significant commemorative event was held in the national capital the very place of the Guru’s martyrdom.

Grewal further said that PM Narendra Modi has undertaken countless works for the Sikh community in the last eleven years including historic decisions welfare initiatives global recognition of Sikh heritage and unmatched respect towards Sikh Gurus. Grewal said that no false narrative can ever hide PM Modi’s deep affection and honour for the Sikh community.

He said that instead of engaging in false accusations every leader should learn from PM Narendra Modi’s humility maturity and visionary leadership. Grewal also expressed disappointment that certain events organised by the Punjab Government lacked the seriousness depth and respect that the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji truly deserves.

Grewal told that while the event in Delhi attended by the President of India and supported by the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee was conducted with complete devotion and dignity the Punjab Government’s event unfortunately failed to meet the expectations of the Sikh sangat. He said that this contrast itself reflects who truly respects the values of Sikh history.

Grewal said that he stands firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for their honest dedicated and heartfelt efforts in preserving and promoting Sikh principles. He added that PM Modi’s relationship with the Sikh community is built on love respect and timeless sincerity not on political convenience.

Grewal strongly appreciated PM Narendra Modi’s unwavering resolve to protect India’s cultural and spiritual heritage saying that the entire nation especially the Sikh community will always remember Modi Ji’s noble works with gratitude and pride.
