Chandigarh, January 18, 2024:  Synonymous with elegance and ultimate cuisine vibrancy, Playboy is quite buoyant about business prospects in the tricity region.

Interacting with media persons today, Rohit Malhotra, CEO, Jay Jay and Kwality Restaurants Pvt Ltd, master franchisee for India for Playboy brand of cafes, beer gardens and clubs, said that the tricity including Punjab is on the priority radar of their business plan. Malhotra was accompanied by Nikhil Verma, Director of Tricity Hospitality with whom Playboy Club has signed a new agreement. 


Giving details of the new agreement Malhotra said that under this  the existing Playboy Club in Chandigarh's Industrial Area  Phase 1 will be the only club and  no new Playboy Club shall be opened in the entire region. 

Malhotra added, "However, the group is toying with the idea of bringing one of the other two formats - Bunny Bar or Cafe & Bar in tricity soon. The group already has a Beer Garden in tricity apart from Playboy Club," said Malhotra.

Talking about Playboy Club, Chandigarh, Nikhil Verma said, "Post the new agreement an attractive international performing artist line up is being curated and the menu will also get a facelift with a focus on beverages in February."

Sharing details about national expansion plans, Malhotra said that Playboy Cafe & Bar format will be taken to bigger cities like Goa, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chennai; these will be opened in 2024. He said that Bunny Bars are being planned in Bengaluru where it is coming up in popular area Koramangala after Bengaluru the Bunny Bar concept will be taken to Delhi and Mumbai.   

Musical performances by renowned national and even international artists and a unique club ambiance will be the attractions for clubbing enthusiasts.
  
Malhotra said that Playboy is one of the world's biggest brands and the same has completed a legacy of 70 years. The brand was born in 1953.

"There is a natural craze among the people of ttricity and other areas of India about Playboy Clubs, as the brand is associated with luxury and sophistication. The nightclubs have upscale decor, plush furnishings, and a generally opulent ambiance," summed up Malhotra while reflecting upon his vision at Playboy, City Emporium Mall, Industrial Area Phase I, Chandigarh.
