PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM SD College for Women holds Group Discussion

Jalandhar, September 7, 2022: PG Department of Commerce and Management conducted a Group Discussion on the topic ' Space for Women Entrepreneurship in India'. The department has always been focusing on such proven techniques to judge the sustainability of an individual for business management education and career. It also aims at holistic development of the students and such activities help them in improving their overall personality, knowledge, critical thinking, leadership skills, communication skills and behaviour in a group- the essential aspects that are critical to be a good manager.

The students of B.Com Semester V participated in the same. It gave them a platform to portray their clarity of thoughts, ability to present an argument, confidence, leadership qualities and their skills in spoken English. The students had a healthy discussion about the Women Entrepreneurs in India like Divya Gokulnath, Co-founder of BY-JU's, Radhika Ghai, Co-founder and CMO of Shop Cues.com, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Founder of Biocon Ltd, Shubra, Co-founder of Chumbak and Shehnaz Hussain, CEO of Shehnaz Herbals and many more. Urvi Chauhan and Nancy of B.Com Semester V were the best speakers at the discussion. 

President Naresh Kumar Budhia, other members of the managing committee and worthy Principal Prof (Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the department for the successful culmination of the event.
