Persona Club Organizes Two-Day ‘U-Turn’ Workshop on Personality Development at GGNIMT
Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology organized a two-day workshop, U-Turn, under the aegis of Persona: The Personality Development Club. The program was aimed at encouraging students to reflect on themselves, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

Ludhiana, September 17, 2025: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology organized a two-day workshop, U-Turn, under the aegis of Persona: The Personality Development Club. The program was aimed at encouraging students to reflect on themselves, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
On Day 1, Er. Shilpa Miglani, Program Director at MBCIE, conducted an impactful session on Personality Traits. With her rich experience in mentoring students and professionals, she highlighted how personality is a blend of character, behavior, and skills. She guided students on recognizing their strengths, refining individuality, and nurturing qualities that support both personal and professional success. Through interactive discussions and relatable real-life examples, she emphasized the importance of adaptability, communication, and emotional intelligence as essential tools for excelling in today’s competitive world.
On Day 2, Aabha Sikri, Soft Skills Trainer and Life Skills Coach, led a highly engaging session on the theme Mind Over Matter. Known for her practical insights and motivational approach, she encouraged students to cultivate resilience and inner strength. Introducing the idea of becoming “FAB” individuals through Focus, Attitude, and Behaviour, she demonstrated how mindset and perspective can directly influence outcomes. Her use of activities, role plays, and storytelling inspired students to embrace positivity, reframe challenges, and align their actions with long-term goals.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT, said that initiatives like U-Turn are milestones in preparing students to meet life and career challenges with confidence and responsibility.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, appreciated the initiative, remarking that the program reflects the institution’s commitment to holistic student development.
The event concluded with acknowledgments for the dedicated efforts of Dr. Ramandeep Kaur and Prof. Ramandeep Kaur, Coordinators of Persona, whose guidance and encouragement ensured the success of U-Turn.
