PCTE's Festaweek 2023 Culminates in Grand Style with Mesmerizing HAVAS Guruhi Band Performance
A weeklong celebration reached its dazzling zenith as Festaweek - 2023 concluded with resounding success. The event garnered massive participation from students, who enthusiastically engaged in a diverse range of activities. Koshish – the Intra College Competition, saw spirited competition as 70 teams from PCTE vied for the coveted Overall Trophy. Remarkably, the Senior wing was clinched by "Shoorveers" (MBA 2nd year), while "The Soul Snatchers" (B.Tech CSE 2nd year) emerged victorious in the Junior Wing, securing the prestigious overall trophy.

The grand finale of Festaweek featured a mesmerizing musical evening graced by the renowned Havas Guruhi musical band from Uzbekistan. They commenced the evening with National Anthem of Uzbekistan and India and then included songs such as "Jadu Teri Nazar" and captivated the audience with their enthralling performance, featuring popular tracks like 'Laung Laachi' and 'Mere Sapno ki Rani.’ The musical evening ended with Vande Mataram. The lively and enchanting performance by HAVAS Guruhi left the audience spellbound, with everyone swaying to their melodies, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Among the many highlights of Festaweek were the highly anticipated PCTE Mr. & Ms. Punjab contest, a dazzling beauty pageant where over 300 students sashayed down the ramp, competing for the coveted pageant titles. The event also featured captivating Fashion Shows and Nukkad Natak performances, where PCTE students showcased their remarkable talent, captivating the audience with thought-provoking concepts such as "Squid Game," "Stereotypes," "Ghost stories," and more.
Dr. KNS Kang, Director-General, extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the winners and participants, emphasizing the institution's commitment to providing an exceptional platform for students from diverse backgrounds to showcase their talent and creativity under one roof.
