PCTE student’s start-up idea gets selected for grant of more than 4.5 lakhs by TBIF IIT Ropar

Ludhiana: Ms. Savneet Kaur, an MBA first year student of PCTE Group of Institutes gets her startup idea – “Mumz Choice” selected by Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF) IIT Ropar for a grant of Rs. 4.5 Lakhs Plus Company Formation Charges and Incentives.

Savneet Kaur said that her idea behind the start-up is to provide catering services to Kindergarten and Play-Ways in India and the main motive is providing healthy food for growing toddlers in these schools. She further said that this is a new concept in India but is already prevailing in countries like Canada, Dubai, France etc. She thanked PCTE E-Cell for guiding her to grab the available opportunities and said that PCTE E-Cell makes a lot of efforts to nurture the young entrepreneurs in the campus by all means including motivating them and providing the necessary training and education required to succeed.

Prof. Naresh Sachdev, Dean of Corporate Relations, said that this is another big achievement for PCTE E-Cell. He further added by saying that the pandemic could not stop the entrepreneurial spirit of the student to outshine.

Dr. KNS Kang Director-General congratulated the student and said that the students are doing extremely well and are setting very high standards for others. He further added by saying that these achievements encourage the students to push themselves beyond the boundaries and work on their creative ideas which helps them to stand out.
