PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School holds Inter-School Competition ‘Pragya 2025’
PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Women, Jalandhar organised a vibrant Inter-School Competition 'Pragya 2025' that brought together young talent from various institutions.
Jalandhar, December 7, 2025: PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Women, Jalandhar organised a vibrant Inter-School Competition 'Pragya 2025' that brought together young talent from various institutions.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the distinguished Chief Guests. The event was graced with a floral welcome to the distinguished Chief Guests Shri Vinod Dada, Senior Vice President, Governing Body and Dr. Kiran Arora, Member, Governing Body. Their inspiring presence added significance to the day’s celebrations.
The competition featured a wide spectrum of events designed to nurture innovation, artistic expression, and intellectual skills. Schools enthusiastically participated in items such as IDEA Lab Exhibition, On-the-Spot Painting, Heena Artistry, Creative Advertising, Rangavali Utsav, Wonders from Waste, E-Presentation on AI: Boon or Bane, Melody Master, Semi-Classical Dance, and a Skit on “Save Environment.”
The events were assessed by a panel of esteemed judges including Kiran Bhagat, Meena Mankotia, Kiran Sharma, Geetika, Ms. Aarti Seth, Rozy, and Saloni. Their expertise and encouragement played a vital role in motivating the participants.
The day concluded with the announcement of First and Second prizes in various categories, applauding students for their outstanding performances.
In Heena Artistry, Suhavi of School of Eminence, Ladowali secured the first prize, while Zoha of Seth Hukam Chand S.D. Public School won the second prize.
In Wonders from Waste, Harpreet and Harpreet Kaur from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nehru Garden bagged the first prize, while Shallu and Nandini from DSSD Girls High School, Industrial Area earned the second position.
In Idea Lab Exhibition, Komal and Kiran from Nehru Garden School won the first prize, and the second prize was secured by Mehak and Piyunshika of PCM SD Collegiate School.
In Dance Maestro, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Suranavi won the first prize, while School of Eminence, Ladowali achieved the second position.
In Rangavali Kalotsav, Roshini and Ritika of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nehru Garden clinched the first prize, and the second prize was won by Jiya and Ridhima of Seth Hukam Chand SD Public School, Sodal Road.
In On-the-Spot Painting, Khushboo of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nehru Garden stood first, followed by Parvati of Dharampal Dada S.D. Public School, Mai Hiran Gate, who won second place.
In Melody Master, DSSD Senior Secondary School, Basti Danishmandan won the first prize, while the second prize was secured by School of Eminence, Ladowali.
In Creative Advertising, the first prize was secured by Devi Sahai Senior Secondary School, Basti Nau, whereas the second prize went to PCM SD Collegiate School.
In E-Presentation, Akshita of Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan Government Girls Senior Secondary School won the first prize for her excellent performance.
In Skit, Devi Sahai Senior Secondary School, Basti Nau earned the first position, while the second prize was won by S.D. Collegiate School, Jalandhar.
The most prestigious recognition of the event, the Overall Trophy, was proudly lifted by Nehru Garden School, Jalandhar, reflecting their remarkable participation and excellence.
A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs Kawaljit Kaur, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, judges, participating schools, teachers, and students for making the event a grand success.
The entire programme was successfully coordinated and managed under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar and event incharges Divya Budhia Gupta, Monika Sharma, Kawaljit Kaur and Ruhi whose meticulous planning ensured smooth execution of the competition.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the School Incharge, Sushma Sharma and the event incharges for successfully organizing the event.
