PCM SD College for Women celebrates NCC Week

Jalandhar: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar has celebrated NCC week in accordance with the guidance of lieutenant Priya Mahajan, in-charge of the SD college NCC wing. Every year the fourth week of November is celebrated as the NCC week all over India with great zeal and enthusiasm. In this week, NCC cadets participate in tree plantation, blood Donation and other social activities. Like every year, the NCC cadets of the college planted trees in the campus and the areas nearby Campus during this week. Some cadets also planted trees near their homes and in public parks by following the rules of social distancing due to Covid 19 pandemic. 

Speaking on the occasion, the worthy Principal of the college Dr. (Mrs.) Kiran Arora praised the efforts of the students and guided them to plant more and more trees in order to safeguard the environment. The Principal also appreciated the efforts of the lieutenant Mrs. Priya Mahajan in organizing such events.
