Ludhiana, August 19, 2025: Upon his arrival in Ludhiana, former District Congress Committee (Urban) President Pawan Dewan extended a warm welcome to NRI Inder Mohan Singh Thind and presented him with a memento.
During the interaction, Pawan Dewan said that despite living miles away from Punjab, the NRI community remains deeply connected to their roots and visits their homeland whenever possible. He added that NRIs have been actively contributing to several development projects, especially in villages.
Expressing gratitude to Dewan for the memento, Inder Mohan Singh Thind, who hails from the UK, said that visiting Punjab always refreshes his old memories. He emphasized that the NRI community can never be separated from its roots.
On this occasion, Bobby Thapar, Surinder Berry, Sudhir Sayal, Gurdeep Singh, Taranjit Bawa, R.P. Singh, along with others, were present.
