Parents Thanksgiving Day, a rollicking event at Sat Paul Mittal School

Ludhiana, December 19, 2022: The parents of Sat Paul Mittal School under the aegis of the Parents’ School Committee hosted the Annual Parents Thanksgiving Day. The essence of this show is rooted in the parental participation in organizing a special event to show their gratitude to the Management, the teachers and the support staff. The Parents Thanksgiving is an annual feature and one of its kind cultural shows in Ludhiana wherein the Satyan parents meticulously plan, execute and deliver.

Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School graced the occasion with his benevolent presence. The theme of the event was ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ to fade away the gloomy memories of the pandemic and leave impressions of bright and buoyant times for one and all. The teachers and the parents vibrantly dressed in Indian ethnic attire enjoyed a plethora of captivating and thoughtful performances.

The show commenced with the welcome speech by Dr. Sulbha Jindal, Vice Chairperson, PSC along with Raminder Kaur, Member, PSC. This was followed by the address given by Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School who expressed his delight on the stupendous efforts of the parents in organizing the spectacular show for the Management, teachers and support staff of the school. The school’s Annual Report was read by Kelly Kapoor, Treasurer, PSC. The cultural event not only included various performances like solo song, solo dance, group dance, skit but also a rocking musical band performance by the enthusiastic fathers. The mesmerizing performances left the audience spellbound.

Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, thanked the PSC (Parent School Committee) for the meticulous planning and perfect execution of this gala affair. The show concluded with the vote of thanks by Rabia Sareen, General Secretary, PSC along with Dr. Anjali Saigal, Member, PSC. Certificates were given away to all the participants. The function culminated with the National Anthem followed by high tea.
