Panjab University Extends UG/PG Admission Deadline to September 18
Panjab University has extended the last date of admission to the first semester of UG/PG courses up to September 18, 2026. As per the revised schedule, normal admission to the first semester of UG/PG courses will be allowed up to September 10, 2026.

Chandigarh, September 1, 2026: Panjab University has extended the last date of admission to the first semester of UG/PG courses up to September 18, 2026. As per the revised schedule, normal admission to the first semester of UG/PG courses will be allowed up to September 10, 2026.
Admissions from September 11 to 15, 2026, may be allowed by the Chairperson/Head of the Department concerned with a late fee of Rs. 2,315.
For admissions from September 16 to 18, 2026, permission of the Vice Chancellor will be required and a late fee of Rs. 5,790 will be applicable.
