Panjab University Announces Parking Sticker Registration for Day Scholar Students with Four-Wheeler Vehicles

Chandigarh, August 13, 2025: Panjab University, Chandigarh has announced that all day scholar students currently enrolled and owning a four-wheeler vehicle must register themselves on the Panjab University MIS (PUMIS) portal for the issuance of parking stickers. Students can register by visiting https://pumis.puchd.ac.in, clicking on “Student Registration (for issuing parking stickers)”, filling in the required details carefully, and uploading a profile picture (png, jpg, jpeg, tif, bmp) of up to 105 KB. After clicking the “Save Now” button, a confirmation message will appear on successful registration. Students must then print their registration form from the “Print Registration Form” option on the home page, have it verified by the Chairperson or Coordinator of their department, and pay a registration fee of Rs. 50/- under fee code M0740 at https://payonline.puchd.ac.in. A copy of the fee receipt should be attached to the verified form.
Issuance of parking stickers will be planned department-wise and the schedule will be announced after registrations are received on the PUMIS portal. On the designated day, students are required to come to the allotted venue with their vehicle, the verified registration form, and the fee receipt. Stickers will be affixed directly onto the vehicles by authorized personnel, and no stickers will be issued in hand without the presence of the registered vehicle. The University has advised all eligible students to complete the process at the earliest to ensure smooth and organised sticker distribution.
