Chandigarh, October 30, 2025: Panjab University (PU) has signed a MoU with Aheadd, an AI-powered career guidance platform, to transform how its students navigate their career journeys. Developed by Dream Ahead, the career guidance platform uses advanced data science and machine learning to deliver personalised guidance at scale, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs.
PU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig said, "With AI reshaping industries, this partnership will help us stay aligned with future career opportunities and equip students accordingly."
Central Placement Cell Honorary Director Prof. Meena Sharma said that through this initiative, students will gain access to personalised career recommendations, AI-driven placement readiness assessments, and real-time insights into emerging job trends. The platform will help them identify skill gaps, connect with relevant training programmes, and engage directly with recruiters — significantly enhancing their employability and placement outcomes, she added.
The collaboration will also create a vibrant career ecosystem where students, recruiters, and skill providers will connect seamlessly — bringing ease, clarity, and opportunity to students building their careers.
