Panjab Journal of Sikh Studies released

Chandigarh, July 12, 2023: Vice Chancellor, Panjab University Chandigarh, Professor Renu Vig, released the journal titled, Panjab Journal of Sikh Studies published by the Department of Guru Nanak Sikh Studies, Panjab University on the annually basis. 

This is a bilingual journal publishes papers in both English as well as Punjabi which break fresh ground in research cutting across disciplines. 

Prof. Gurpal Singh Sandhu is working as chief editor of this Journal and Prof. Sheena Pall, Prof. Reeta Grewal, Prof. Jagtej Kaur Grewal and Prof. Gurpreet Kaur are contributing as editors. 

This is a special issue commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Bhai Vir Singh, the father of modern Punjabi literature, containing 14 papers in English and 10 in Punjabi and papers of wide range; from senior scholars of the field of Punjab and Sikh Studies to a fresh voice of Ph. D researchers.
