Jalandhar, July 17, 2025: Ivy World School, under the aegis of Vasal Education, proudly celebrated International Moon Day on Thursday, aligning with the UN designated observance marking the anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing in 1969.
The school transformed into a hub of space themed creativity, with students showcasing intricate working models telescopes, solar systems, lunar phases, constellations, space shuttles, day and night cycles, and seasonal shifts all centred on our closest celestial neighbour.
The event’s highlight was the imaginative “astro ramp walk,” where pupils donned astronaut costumes and embodied lunar explorers, vividly bringing the magic of space travel to life. Complementing the exhibition, an Intra class English poetry recitation competition allowed budding poets to muse on the Moon’s beauty, mystery, and inspiration. These innovative and engaging activities fostered scientific curiosity, creative expression, and a profound appreciation of lunar exploration.
Congratulating the students, the dignitaries including President K.K. Vasal, Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, and Director Aditi Vasal offered heartfelt praise and encouragement.
The Director Principal appreciated and congratulated to all the participants, recognizing the day’s success in inspiring young minds.
