Ferozepur: Another Pakistani national has been nabbed by the sleuths belonging to129 Battalion of BSF near border outpost (BOP) DT Mall in this sector. The nabbed Pakistani national has been identified as Adnan son of Mansha, a resident of Village Aarshul in Kasur district of Pakistan. Sources revealed that Pakistani currency worth Rs 380 besides one double SIM mobile and a slip has been recovered. Sources said that the accused was found roaming under suspicious circumstances near the BOP following which he was nabbed by the BSF troops.
After the preliminary investigation, he was handed over to the police at Mamdot police station. SHO Anubhav Chauhan confirmed that the Pakistani intruder has been formally arrested and taken into custody at Mamdot Police Station and a case under Passport Act and Foreign Act has been registered against the accused (FIR No. 192 dated 01.11.2020).
Earlier, less than a week ago on October 25, a Pakistani national identified as Yousuf son of Manjoor was nabbed by the BSF troops from DT Mall area. Before that on October 20, another Pakistani national was nabbed near Hussainiwala barrage who was identified as Mushtaq son of Shabbir. He was carrying Pakistani currency worth Rs. 5510, besides some visiting cards were also recovered from him. /(November 1)
