Overwhelming response in one day job fair/rojgar mela

Ludhiana, September 18, 2021: Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana jointly mentioned that industry is facing manpower shortage, to fulfil the demand of manpower, CICU in association with District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Punjab organized one day job fair at CICU Focal Point, Ludhiana. Job Fair helped the uneducated and unemployed youths of rural areas as well as from the other areas to get employment as per industrial requirement and assist in eradication of social evil amongst them.
 
More than 47 companies have participated with high requirements of manpower like welder, fitter, turner, machinist, CNC Operator, Electrician, MMV and Diesel Mechanic, Computer Operator, Documentation Assistant for Logistic Sector, Consignment Tracking Executive for Logistic Sector, Assistant Accountant  using Tally Erp.9 etc.
 
Navdeep Singh, Deputy CEO and their entire team from District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises made efforts for arranging the candidates from Punjab. He mentioned that about 3461 candidates visited and 3254 were selected by the Companies.
