Over 350 participated in ‘ Livathon–Yoga for Life’ at Sukhna Lake
On the eve of International Yoga Day on Saturday , over 350 people participated in the ‘Livathon– Yoga for Life’ organized by Livasa Hospitals at Sukhna Lake. Local residents, health experts, fitness enthusiasts, senior citizens and youth enthusiastically participated in the special yoga session conducted under the guidance of certified yoga instructors.
Chandigarh, June 20, 2206: On the eve of International Yoga Day on Saturday , over 350 people participated in the ‘Livathon– Yoga for Life’ organized by Livasa Hospitals at Sukhna Lake. Local residents, health experts, fitness enthusiasts, senior citizens and youth enthusiastically participated in the special yoga session conducted under the guidance of certified yoga instructors.
During the session, special emphasis was placed on the importance of physical fitness, mental health, meditation and adopting a healthy lifestyle.Free health check-ups, refreshments and souvenir T-shirts were also provided for the participants.
Anurag Yadav, CEO-Livasa Hospitals, said that healthcare is not limited to hospitals, but practices like yoga encourage people to take responsibility for their own physical, mental and emotional health.
Yoga plays an important role in increasing physical flexibility and fitness as well as mental strength and stress management, said Jitendra Arora , Senior Vice President-Operations.
