Opening of Manas Hospital in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, November 10, 2018: Manas Psychology, Epilepsy & De-addiction Centre, Tagore Nagar, Ludhiana which is a pioneer psychiatric clinic being run by Dr.Rajeev Gupta a renowned psychiatrist, started a new unit Manas Hospital at Saggu Chowk, near Hotel ONN, Aarti Chowk, Ludhiana. Addressing the media persons, Dr.Gupta, informed that it is a specialized psychiatric hospital, solely dedicated and committed to cater multiple needs of patients with psychiatric, psychosocial, emotional and behavioral problems. The hospital provides a full day psychiatric OPD, 25 bedded indoor facilities, fully automated clinical laboratory, advanced centre for psychological & counselling services, child & adolescent clinic, drug de-addiction centre, all under one roof. The hospital will be managed by a group of psychiatrists, Dr. Rajeev Gupta, Chief Psychiatrist and Managing Director of Manas Hospital has experience of 35 years in the field of psychiatry, Dr. Anshul Mahajan with special interest in clinical and Community psychiatry and Dr. Akshit Mahajan with interest in child & adolescent psychiatry and counseling. It also has a learn of qualified clinical psychologists, counselors & social workers. Services of occupational therapists, special educators and speech therapists for ‘child early intervention centre' will be added very soon in near future. While elaborating the aim of the hospital, Dr. Gupta said “It was my dream to provide the city, the best psychiatric hospital in the region. He told that from past few decades psychiatry practice has undergone a complete transformation. Stigma has reduced and more people are coming forward for psychiatric help.
