Offset Printers association organizing an awareness camp on Monday for the rural unemployed youth, persuading them to adopt Printing as the carrier at Ludhiana. 

Ludhiana, April 27, 2015: As per national statics 60 % of the students are school dropouts due to the poor in education or socio economic or any other reason, as a result some of the dropouts in frustration become prone to anti-social activities. These students have no opening in Jobs. Offset Printers’ Association. Taking the lead in imparting education to such kind  of youths , has  started the project of establishing a Print Media Ashram  at  Police Public School ,  Village Bharowal Kalan, around 25 km from Ludhiana on Hambran road. The intention of opening this Ashram is to train students to adopt printing as a carrier and can earn about 15,000 per month as the salary. This will also be a new opening to the printing industry who are in need of manpower.

Offset Printers association organized an awareness camp on Monday for the rural unemployed youth, persuading them to adopt Printing as the carrier . Giving details about the project, Kamal Chopra (General Secretary ) gave an  insight to the students and unemployed youth on the Printing Industry. chopra explained to the students about the prospects in  printing industry and how , students can be benefited from the training, which will be provided free of cost by OPA Ludhiana. Amarjot Arora, Executive OPA Ludhiana , gave some brief tips to the students and explained them that they can also work from home eg binding and screen printing process .

Kultaj Singh , Principal of the School , welcomed the step  taken by OPA and offered full cooperation to empower the Youth . The classes will start in the coming week  at the school premises on Sunday and the faculty will be sent from Ludhiana .Out of the 50 youth who attended the 1st seminar ,  25  of them Enrolled on the spot for the 1st batch of the course .

On the completion of the course , and the student who wish  to adopt printing   as a  carrier , can be sent To China or Scotland for further studies , The selection of the student will be done by OPA Ludhiana .Mr. Manish Jain , Executive Member and Parvesh Jagga , were also present for the event .
