Online Quiz Contest on G-20 organised at Home Science College

Chandigarh, March 31, 2023: In sync with the vision and mission of India's G-20 presidency, the Literary Society of Government Home Science College organized an online Quiz Contest on “Awareness of G-20 among Youth”. The idea was to acquaint students about key areas of focus during India’s G-20 presidency. The broad priority areas include inclusive and sustainable growth; accelerating achievement of the SDGs, green development and LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), public digital infrastructure; reforms of multilateral financial institutions and international peace and harmony. Through the online quiz, students were apprised of the dire need to find pragmatic solutions to the socio-economic challenges faced all around the world. The event got an overwhelming response as more than 120 students participated in the quiz.

While hailing India’s G-20 presidency as the watershed moment, Prof. Sudha Katyal (Principal) strongly advocated that global transformative actions are required for a cleaner, greener and bluer future.
