Online peer learning and skill building workshop at Home Science College 

Chandigarh: In sync with the prime minister's initiative of Atmanirbhar Bharat to empower students and help build and hone their skills during this time of pandemic, an Online Peer Learning and Skill building workshop was organized on ‘Art of making Home-made chocolates and Donuts’. 
The workshop was successfully conducted by Anupreet Kaur Sobti, a student of B.Sc. Dietetics final year. She also shared her experience in setting up her own startups ‘Fantasia de chocolates’ and ‘Dietaura™’. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to worthy teachers of the college and especially Principal of the college Prof. Sudha Katyal for motivating her to strengthen peer learning. She further demonstrated the different cooking methods of making homemade donuts and adding glaze to it. She also demonstrated chocolate making and different flavours that can be added to it. She further encouraged the viewers to add innovation to their delicacies and enjoy them during the upcoming festivities. 

Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, congratulated the student on her achievements and further encouraged all the viewers to never let down their spirits  and keep moving ahead towards achieving their passion and honing their skills. Dr. Katyal also asserted that aatam nirbharta will be essential for survival and blooming in post- covid era. (July 21)
