Mumbai (Anil Bedag): The extraordinary journey of independent India's first individual Olympic medalist, Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav, is all set to come alive on the big screen. The much-awaited Marathi sports biopic 'Khashaba', produced by Jio Studios and Aatpat Productions, has unveiled its powerful teaser, significantly raising excitement among audiences. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, the film chronicles the inspiring life of a sporting legend who overcame limited resources and immense hardships to win a historic bronze medal at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, etching his name in Indian sporting history.
This ambitious production by Jio Studios will portray Khashaba's remarkable journey from the traditional wrestling arenas of rural India to the prestigious Olympic podium, blending grandeur with emotional depth. The teaser, which was first showcased in theatres, received an overwhelming response from audiences, and its digital release has further amplified the buzz surrounding the film.
The film features music composed by the acclaimed duo Ajay-Atul. A fresh face will be introduced as Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav, with the official announcement expected soon.
