National Library Week-Book Fair

Jalandhar: Ivy World School under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society provided a platform to the Ivyians to honour National Library Week, 2022. This was celebrated by organizing a book fair from 17th November, 2022 to 19th November, 2022 in the school premises. The motive behind fabulous fair was to enlighten the students about  the valuable role of libraries encourage reading  books and how they transform life. Every table was installed with various kinds of books. Novels, science, fictions, story books and children’s books were in great demand. Thousands of avid book lovers were part of this fair. The enthusiasm and fervor among students could be witnessed through their active participation.

 The Principal Sanjeev Chauhan appreciated the event and encouraged students to participate more in such activities. She emphasized that reading gives pleasure and helps one to strengthen the communication skills as well as create awareness . Apart from this, she added that books make one empathetic, knowledgeable and stimulate imagination.

The President of Vasal Education Society, K K Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal, The Director Aditi Vasal and The CEO Raghav Vasal lauded the fervid participation of the students. They appreciated the efforts made by the school to impart the idea among the students that what wonder and magic books can create. Also, they motivated the students to develop regular reading habits highlighting the advantages of reading.
