National level faculty development programme at PU

Chandigarh: The Department of Community Education and Disability Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh is organizing Three Day National Level Faculty Development Programme  in collaboration with Human Resource Development Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh (Under RUSA Program) on “Population, Environment and Sustainable Development” from January 24-26, 2020”.  

Shri Debendra Dalai, Director, Department of Environment, Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh gave inaugural address to the faculty and participants of the Programme. He said that the sustainable development goals are interlinked with each other and it is high time we all should think over it. Mr. Dalai appreciated the people of Chandigarh for their concern for greenery and tapping the Natural Resources. 

Dr. V. Mohan Kumar, Additional Director, Directorate of Adult Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi  in his key note address congratulated the organizers for selecting the appropriate theme which are inter linked and wrapped with each other. 

Dr. Jyanti Datta in her address introduced Human Resource Development Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh to the participants and said that by the end of the workshop all the teachers should be practitioners.  She congratulated Dr. Dazy Zarabi, Course Coordinator and Chairperson of the Department of Community Education and Disability Studies for the Workshop and requested organizers to make it vibrant and interactive programme.
