MPHW employees submit a memorandum to former CM Hooda

Rohtak, September 28, 2025: A delegation from the Multipurpose Health Workers Organization (MPHW) met with former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today and submitted a memorandum detailing their demands and problems.

The MPHW employees stated that despite repeated requests to the government, their demands have remained unheard, leading to widespread anger among the employees. According to the memorandum, the main demands of the MPHW employees include the restoration of abolished MPHW positions in urban areas, the approval of new positions based on population as per IPHS standards, regular recruitment for MPHW (male and female) positions that have been vacant for several years, the grant of the basic pay scale (FPL-6) to ANMs working in the NHM, Haryana, the amendment of the MPHW designation, like all other categories in the Health Department, in accordance with regulations, and the issuance of professional pay scales for all promoted positions in the category.

Former Chief Minister Hooda said that almost all of these demands are legitimate and the government should resolve them through sensitive dialogue. He questioned the government's neglect, stating that the BJP government in the state has completely ruined the health system. The government is unable to recruit new doctors or other staff. The demands and problems of existing staff are also being ignored, forcing employees to frequently resort to strikes and protests, and causing significant inconvenience to patients.
