Talwandi Sabo, January 2, 2014: Jasbir Singh Sandhu, Member of Parliament from Surrey (Canada) will be visiting Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo on January 3 at 11 am. He will be addressing the senior officers and Heads of Departments of the University as well as the media on Punjabi brother hood and the challenges being confronted with by the Punjabi living abroad.
Professor Gurbhajan Singh Gill Director (Planning & Development) of the University stated that Jasbir Singh Sandhu who was born in Village Rurka Kalan in the Jalandhar district, as general secretary of Prof. Manmohan Singh Memorial Foundation, organises “Gadri babiyan da mela” every year to maintain affinity to Punjabi brotherhood with dignity of heritage. Sandhu keeps a distinctive recognition of populism among the Canadian youth.
