MP Arora Showcases 3-Year Report Card, Seeks Support from Ludhiana (West) Voters
Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Ludhiana (West), Sanjeev Arora, held a series of poll meetings across the constituency on Saturday, including at Guru Amardas Nagar, Mall Road, New Prem Nagar, and Kitchlu Nagar.

Ludhiana, May 25, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Ludhiana (West), Sanjeev Arora, held a series of poll meetings across the constituency on Saturday, including at Guru Amardas Nagar, Mall Road, New Prem Nagar, and Kitchlu Nagar.
Addressing the gatherings, Arora presented his report card highlighting developmental work accomplished over the past three years. He emphasized that his efforts were driven by a strong desire to serve Ludhiana and improve the quality of life for its residents.
“I have undertaken every project with passion and commitment,” he said, urging voters to support him if they want continued progress in Ludhiana. “If elected, I will work ten times harder to bring more development to Ludhiana (West),” he added.
Citizens from diverse backgrounds expressed appreciation for Arora’s contributions. At the Guru Amardas Nagar meeting, Ar. Sanjay Goel, former Director of Ludhiana Smart City Ltd., praised Arora’s work, stating, “The development accomplished in the last three years under Arora’s leadership surpasses what was done in the previous three decades.” He cited key infrastructure projects such as the establishment of Halwara Airport, the elevated road project, and civil hospital upgrades, along with improvements in civic amenities including water supply, sewerage systems, and street lighting.
Ar Goel commended Arora as a role model in politics, describing him as a leader genuinely committed to public service.
At another meeting in New Prem Nagar, Arora paid tribute to the late MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi, whose untimely demise led to the vacancy in Ludhiana (West). A photograph of Gogi was displayed prominently at the event. Arora shared that he had not aspired to contest the election but was fielded as a candidate following the decision of AAP’s senior leadership after Gogi’s passing.
The meetings were attended by several prominent figures including Satish Gupta, Tanveer Singh Dhaliwal, Pradeep Kumar, Nandini Jerath, Kawaldeep Singh, Sukhchen Kaur Bassi (Chairman, PEDA), Bittu Bhullar, and Ashok Chawla.
