Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won historic win in the Gujarat Assembly Elections. It has won 156 seats out of a total 182 seats. Thus, the party created a record since Independence. Similarly, in Himachal Pradesh Congress has won 40 out of 68 seats. In MCD elections, AAP has won 134 seats out a total 250 seats. It is clear that all the parties have shown their presence in these elections. The indications are clear that the magic of Narendra Modi is still intact in the minds of the voters in the present political scenario. BJP has succeeded in increasing its vote bank in Gujarat whereas in Himachal Pradesh where Congress has won there is hardly gap of mere less than one percent of votes between the Congress and the BJP.  Soon the governments will be formed in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat. These elections will have impact on the 2024 parliament elections. In Himachal Pradesh, there are 4 parliament seats whereas in Gujarat there are 26 parliament seats. BJP has performed much better in MCD elections even though AAP has registered its historic win. With the poll results in Himachal, leadership seems to be in high spirits. On the other hand, AAP has registered increase in its vote bank now to 12.9 percent in Gujarat whereas in Himachal Pradesh it got mere 1.1 percent vote share of the total votes polled and failed to win even a single seat. AAP has won five assembly seats in Gujarat. The party is hopeful that in coming days it will increase its base of vote bank in other states too. The guarantees announced by AAP in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat have failed to yield the results as expected by its leaders. The voters have clearly rejected the freebies/guarantees announced in the pre-assembly elections 2022.
